About Us

Aesthetics are important. We want this space to be special and think you'll agree that it is. Reclaimed wood can be seen throughout. Tables, bench seating, wainscot, counters, ceiling, bar top, and back bar are all made from reclaimed wood milled at Bensonwood in Alstead. Much of the kitchen equipment purchased was made in Bow, New Hampshire, keeping New Hampshire jobs thriving. Local labor was used to transform this space which was once a poultry abattoir of Hubbard Farms.

A passion for food is at the heart of everything at The Hungry Diner. A part of us is in each and every dish we serve. We take great pride in the quality of our ingredients and our commitment to our local farms. We know you will taste the difference!
